Types of Resources
1. Books (available electronically and in print)
  • Books in the reference collection may give an overview of a topic and help to develop an outline for your paper.
  • Books in the circulating collection generally provide greater depth.
  • Search the Online Catalog for books.
2. Articles (available electronically and in print)
3. Web Sites
  • Should only be used when you can determine their source, accuracy, and currency, as discussed in the Evaluating Resources tutorial. Your professor should approve any web sites you use.
