Common database search features:
- text boxes to enter the search terms;
- search fields to tell the system where to search the search terms, such as title, author, or subject;
- limiting options to help focus the search, such as "peer-reviewed" or date range;
- email, print or save options.
The way a database presents search features will differ, but the database search process is the same.
When beginning the research process, use the Library's databases.
Use information from the Internet only when you can determine its source, accuracy, and currency.
