Lisa Angelico
Sundays @ 7:00pm
I am one of those people: neurotic, intropunitive, domestic, obsessive, discomfited, introverted.
I enjoy jumping on my bed, knitting, contemplating sneaking dogs into my dorm room, hot tea with milk and sugar. When I have a bad day, I ride the bus until they kick me off. I collect words. I free helium balloons but feel guilty about it because I know they aren’t good for birds or turtles or raccoons. I stay up all night for no real reason. I can’t sleep. I still hold my breath all through Boston tunnels. I want to be an astronaut; I can barely add. I will pick you up: passionate, persuasive, hilarious, invested, idealistic, liberal. I am one of those people. I have a list of goals.
The first one is to get into a fist fight in a parking lot.

Sarah Babetski & Kathleen Reid
Mondays @ 2:00pm
Collective age: 40
Collective Interests: Ireland, Greek Wraps, Pashing, Copy Machines, the third floor of the library
For Halloween we, and five of our friends, dressed up as Roy G. Biv and Suse was our Pot of Gold.
Reasons to Listen:
1. We have been known to play 11 minute Peter Gabriel songs twice in one show
2. We always have some sort of theme
3. Our DJ aliases are HK Speckta IV and Yunity with a Y
4. We play some pretty sweet tunes when we’re not making a joke out of
everything
Reasons not to listen:
1. You wouldn't be caught dead listening to Peter Gabriel because it might tarnish your "image"
2. Themes aren’t your bowl of pudding
3. The words "HK Speckta IV and Yunity with a Y" make you break out in hives
4. You suffer from melophobia (fear of music) and geliophobia (fear of laughter).

Chiquita Banana
Tuesdays @ 4:00pm
I’m a laugher, fighter, lover, dreamer, bookworm, hopeless romantic and music junkie. I love babies and animals, history and politics, making out and cuddling, playing guitar and meeting people. My only goal is to change the world. But the only thing you really need to know is that I am me and I will never be anything else.

John Blanchflower
The Groove
Wednesdays @ 5:00pm
To describe Jack Blanchflower would be like describing the wind, it’s full of life and full of the wrath of God. Okay that was a little to farfetched and I was trying to be like Corey Majors, but we all know that I am not gonna even get close. So let's start over. I am Jack Blanchflower but my nickname is the "JackHammer." I am a huge fan of old school rock, but a lot of new stuff too. Basically if it has the word "Rock" in it I like it. I am from Sterling , Mass and I am a freshman. This is my first radio gig, but I have already found out, "its flippin’ sweet". My favorite bands just to name a few are Led Zepplin, Cream, Eric Clapton, Blind Faith, Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry, Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, 311, Green Day, Disturbed, Carlos Santana, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Simon and Garfunkel, Queen, Audioslave, Black Sabbath, Bronson Arroyo, The Doobie Brothers, The Guess Who, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lenny Kravitz, Linkin Park, Megadeth, Metallica, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Prodigy, Rob Zombie, Staind, Sublime, System of a Down, Korn and many, many more. I love all types of music but it’s rock that gets my veins pumping. My show is on Wednesdays at 5 o'clock so check it out. My radio show is full of good old music and some newer stuff, but you can count on some good old fashioned rock 'n’ roll, the way it was supposed to sound. I love going to concerts and just groovin’ out to the music for hours. So check the show out or I will find you and I will place you in the gigantic vat of flour I keep in my room and no one likes to be drenched in flour, so listen to "The Groove."

Paul Briganti & Ardie Petsas
The EC Zoo
Wednesday @ 10:00pm
Paul and Ardie are kings, if not gods who live among men. They posses wisdom that would make Stephen Hawking look like any ape, and great strength that would make an ape look like Stephen Hawking. The story of how these two met begins with Ardie, back in his home town of Dodona, Greece. Ardie was a very skillful gymnast, and was driven by his power hungry trainer/father, Konstantinos Petsas. He would make his son practice for nine hours each day, often threatening him with violence or no food. "Higher!" his father would scream at him, "if you do not win next week’s competition, there will be no potato balls for you to eat!" Ardie was competing in America at an all state gymnastics tournament. Ironically, Paul was working concessions for the event. Paul had been working this job for 3 years at that point but donated all his earnings to the efforts taking part in Guam to build more schools for the underprivileged youths. Paul loved the youth. Sooner or later, it was Ardie's turn. His father then explained to him that he needed to perform a triple front flip to a cart wheel tumble. It was the only way he could beat his rival, Lindsey McGivens. "I can’t do it!" Ardie cried as he doubted himself, "I've never done move before!" His father then slapped his son repeadetly until he blacked out. When he came to, he was ready to do the triple front flip to a cart wheel tumble. He stared at his rival, Lindsay McGivens. Lindsey and Ardie had been rivals even since Lindsey stabbed Ardie's mother after she gave birth to him. Ardie was off and his routine was going well until the unimaginable happened. Right as Ardie was landing a triple back flip, Lindsey McGivens grabbed a javelin from an audience member and flung it at Ardie's calf. The audience was dumbfounded and sickened, especially the man who owned the javelin. Blood and tears were everywhere, and Ardie's future in gymnastics shattered before everyone's eyes. Paul never felt so disgusted in his life and decided to do something about it. Paul grabbed Lindsey McGivens and threw her into the audience like a rag doll. Paul then ran to Ardie's aid and with Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed on his side, mysteriously healed Ardie's wound. They then locked arms together and created a tangible form of love. They then knew what they had to do: make the best damn radio show the world has ever seen. And that is why I want to attend Emmanuel College. Thank you for your time.

Corey Major
Interrupted Sushi
Tuesdays @ 9:00pm
To define Corey Major would be the equivalent of preaching parables for 40+ years on top of a mountain, and we all know that we don't have the means or time to do that. Corey is a tangled web of metaphors and one-liners from silly pop songs. These are the randomly assorted things that make up Corey Major's DNA, but he is not limited to that. Well, okay, maybe he is. Not just an enthusiastic DJ for ECR, Corey is also a musician/recording artist. Be a cool indie-rock-computer-savvy-dude and check out My Life's Hi-Tech Revolution on either Myspace or Purevolume.

Emily Willmer
Righteous Jams!
Mondays @ 9:00pm
Essentially, my entire life is devoted to Emmanuel College Radio. Okay, maybe not the whole thing but I'm gonna bet at least an hour or two out of each and every weekday. This is my second year DJing, and I find it to be pretty much the best thing ever. My show is essentially a debauchery of the radio station, as I end up with too many people in the studio by 10:00pm every Monday night, each of them rattling off their own little stories/songs/musings while I attempt to collect my own thoughts and finish the show (on which I play lots of indie/pop-rock/hardcore/if-Tim's-there-we-create-our-own-techno). It's a good time and you should probably listen. Yeah.
